The mirror plate with a reeded and ebonised inner border; the outer border boldly carved and formed of four 'batons’ with leafage at the terminals; all surmounted with a carved eagle set on a small plinth which is then flanked by dolphins each side; enriched with pendant leafage at the bottom.
Note: The frame now dry-stripped and retaining much of the original gilding. The mirror plate is a later replacement of course.
